]]>8:20pm HST - Our Internet Service Provider has identified the problem with their network infrastructure. They are now performing emergency maintenance to address the issue and it is estimated that it will take 1-3 hours to complete. We will provide more updates as the maintenance work progresses.
6:00pm HST - we received reports that Internet connection to our data center became unresponsive, causing service interruption to on-campus Internet access, as well as off-campus access to virtual desktops via cloud.hpu.edu and other on-campus resources. Our technicians are assessing the situation and working with our Internet Service Provider to troubleshoot the issues.

03/12 02:53 - The majority of the systems and services have been brought back online. Our technicians will perform a thorough system check and continue to work on the remaining services on Sunday. Currently both wired and WiFi connectivity at all locations have been re-established, and all services except the following are functional.
03/11 16:09 - Network connectivity issues have been identified and the links from the new data center to Aloha Tower Marketplace and Pioneer Plaza have been established. Technicians are en route to other campus locations (Waterfront Plaza, Hawaii Loa Campus and Oceanic Institute) to make similar fixes. Meanwhile, other technicians are in the process of starting up on prem critical services. Currently Internet and WiFi access on campus is still unavailable.
03/10 17:46 - The networking configuration is taking longer than expected. Although all equipment has been moved over, the network at the new facility is still being worked on.
03/10 07:40 - Technicians are still working on installing equipment at the new data center.
03/10 02:22 - All servers and network equipment have been turned off and most of them have been transported to the new facility. They are currently being set up..
03/09 20:24 - We are at the final stage of shutting all equipment at the current data center.

In order to resolve this, there will be a temporary outage of network resources during lunchtime TODAY. Beginning at 12:15 PM, the outage is expected to last 30 minutes. User Impact: Users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.
More info: Existing sessions do not appear to be affected. Affected users are encouraged to keep existing sessions going and to avoid re-authenticating to Microsoft 365 services.
Any Microsoft 365 service that leverages Azure Active Directory (AAD) authentication may be impacted by this issue.
Current status: We've identified and are reverting a recent change to the service which may be causing or contributing to impact.
Scope of impact: Any user may experience access problems for Microsoft 365 services.

Password: Use the "Forgot Your Password?" link to reset your password. This password only applies to Blackboard and is not synchronized with other systems.
