4:38pm - Thank you for your patience in regards to the disruption of HPU IT services. The ITS team has made significant progress in resolving this situation. Connectivity will continue to be intermittent as we resolve the issue. This is expected for a few more hours. Once the issue is completely resolved, another communication will be provided. Again, thank your for your patience.
1:47pm - The network outage continues, but progress has been made on resolving the issues. Another update will be provided in a few hours. In the meantime, should you need to access Blackboard a work around has been put into place:
Open https://hpu.blackboard.com
Username: Your MyHPU username
Password: Use the "Forgot Your Password?" link to reset your password. This password only applies to Blackboard and is not synchronized with other systems. The password reset process will send an email to your university provided email address. If you currently do not have access to your email, please contact the Helpdesk via help@hpu.edu.
10:48am - Our technicians are still working on resolving the network problems. We estimated it will take several more hours to resolve all issues and bring services back on-line. Another status update will be posted at 1pm.
8:44am - We are currently experiencing a major network outage at our datacenter, which affects the following services. Technicians are onsite to resolve the problems.

- Wireless Network
- General Network Services
- Virtual Desktops
- Banner Admin Pages
- Banner Self-Service
- Blackboard
- Cognos
- Other systems utilizing my.hpu.edu for authentication
